SCS Indigenous wants to share our vision for excellence, inclusion, and sustainable social impact.

Our Purpose

SCS Indigenous seamlessly blends Indigenous ownership with a nationwide service capacity. The company was co-founded by Scott McCartney, a proud Bunurong and Wotjobaluk man, and Nicholas Pastras. Operating in a strategic partnership with SCS Group, SCS Indigenous provides top-tier commercial cleaning and facilities management services throughout Australia.

The core of SCS Indigenous's operations is built upon a steadfast dedication to exceptional service, sustainable practices, and empowering Indigenous communities through significant economic involvement. The company aims to consistently surpass client expectations by delivering dependable, adaptable, and innovative services, while actively generating quantifiable social value and local impact.

Disclaimer:
SCSI is currently awaiting approval for its Labour Hire Licence in Victoria. We have successfully obtained certification as an Indigenous business through the Murri Chamber of Commerce. Applications for registration and certification with Supply Nation, Kinaway (VIC), and the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce are in progress.

Our 'Why' is the driving force behind SCS Indigenous. We are fundamentally committed to generating tangible opportunities that empower Indigenous individuals and communities.

Empowering Through Employment

We're proud to team up with Indigenous community-controlled organizations to help Indigenous women rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic and family violence.

Investing in Future Generations

We actively put our resources into the potential of young Indigenous Australians. We do this through specific scholarships, mentorship programs, educational grants, and initiatives focused on community leadership.

Creating Career Pathways

Working alongside Indigenous-led Registered Training Organisations, we jointly create structured traineeships and clear employment pathways.

Supporting the Indigenous Business Ecosystem

We make a conscious effort to prioritise and incorporate Indigenous-owned suppliers into both our purchasing strategy and our long-term supply chains.

Deepening Community Engagement

We go beyond simple transactions to build truly sustainable partnerships. By actively participating in and sponsoring local initiatives, cultural events, and community projects, we forge genuine, mutually beneficial relationships. This allows us to meaningfully contribute to reconciliation, cultural preservation, and shared social responsibility.

SCS Indigenous acknowledges the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of the Australian land — the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community.
We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
